In this week’s episode I sat down with James Malinchak to talk about how speaking can be used to gain advantage over your competitors and bring in more revenue to your business. Also, this week’s S&D is, well, flexible to say the least. And–my favorite part of the show–an answer to a question from a GKIC Gold Member.

    Bill,

As always, a great episode! I tell all my members (especially Mastermind Members) that they should all be in the Info-marketing biz, and use speaking to build their business. (Great interview with James, btw!)

    Thank you!

Another great show Bill. Can’t believe there’s no comments here yet :-(

I just Tweeted it – every little helps I guess :-)

Bill and team, Thank you for the fun and informative videos! Do you have a source for the straws? My friend owns a yoga studio and I want to let her know about them. Thank you! Lisa

    Hey Bill,

Good interview with James. Speaking is something I will get involved with this year. I thought the straw was a great promo tool I can use. Do you have a particular vendor GKIC members can contact?

    Dedicated to my profitability,

    Hal

Could not find the link to submit a question, so here it goes: Hi Bill, thanks for the great info. I’ve recently finished reading Outrageous Advertising and become a member of the No BS community. I’m loving the info, but having a hard time applying a lot of it to a strictly “service” industry in which I don’t control pricing. I’m in the insurance industry and the rates, products and services are set by the corporate office and enforced by the state insurance commissioner.

I’m excitied about implementing outageous marketing to dominate my area and even share that info/experience with other service professionals that can’t control pricing or product. Any recommendations?

  • Love the shirt Bill! I’m attending one of James’ events in December, and I can’t wait. From all of his material that I’ve seen on his websites, and from my friends that are his clients, that guy knows his stuff (and how to teach it)!

Great episode! Thanks for the tips James! I love the straw idea-it’s perfect for my favorite quote “Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape!”

  • Paul Endress says:

When somone asks how much I make speaking I tell them $100 and then pause for effect and add “… per minute”. When you think about it that is exactly what a moderatly paid speaker gets.

  • Thank you to everyone who have been emailing, calling and FaceBooking me thanking me for the quick tips. I appreciate it very much!
